Play comes in all shapes and sizes. My shape is CSSA, that means “Comical Satirical Surrealistical play with a touch of Absurd”. Usually divided into what has come to be called 3-act structure:

  • The first act is the Protasis/exposition
  • The second act is the Epitasis/complication
  • The final act is the Catastrophe/resolution

Haha, just trying to impress you. Sometimes I’m wholeheartedly destroying this structure and starting to write from the end.

“Plays are meant to be performed, not read,” – you’ll say. But before any play makes it to a stage, it will have to survive a small army of readers. And you are my army …and the stage as well.

A CSSA play involves lots of drama and action as its most pure actions. Do not expect the text of  Shakespeare, Ibsen, or Arthur Miller, but expect a bold, character-driven story with a weird dialogues and a surprising ending.

Enjoy the thrill of reading!
